Hemant is a Managing Director at Green Street and a lead research analyst for Europe overseeing the coverage of Pan-European retail, residential and niche sectors. Since joining the firm in 2008, he has played a central role in setting up and advancing Green Street’s European research infrastructure, databases and valuation models. Hemant has largely been responsible for Green Street’s extensive analysis on the UK Retail sector, publishing frequently on disruptors facing the industry. Hemant is frequently quoted in the financial and property media including The Financial Times, Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal and Property Week. Before joining Green Street, he worked at BlackRock analysing the property funds market. Hemant earned a B.Sc in Economics with Business Finance from Brunel University in London. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA).
